Requirements
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
ˇ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university and one to two years related experience and/or training preferred.
ˇ Familiarity with standards, concepts, practices and procedures within gaming and/or pari-mutual wagering is desired.
ˇ Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
ˇ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
ˇ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
ˇ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
ˇ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
ˇ To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong PC skills, knowledge of Internet, and be proficient using Microsoft Office products.
ˇ Valid drivers' license
ˇ CPA or CIA or candidate for certification desired
ˇ Must be able to obtain gaming and racing licenses in various jurisdictions.
ˇ Generally relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines, but occasionally relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
