TLC for Kids, St. Louis' premier nanny agency is seeking a extremely motivated, dynamic and professional human resources intern to assist with various tasks of a busy staffing agency. TLC for Kids is a locally owned business with a fun environment. This position is intended for the spring semester '13 as a unpaid part-time internship with the possibility of turning into a permanent paid position into the summer.

Working in TLC's small office setting, offers anyone interested in business and H.R. the opportunity to delve into many aspects of both.

Primary duties would include:
RECRUITING NANNIES
-attend job fairs
-social media recruiting campaigns
-placing help wanted ads

PRE-SCREENING APPLICANTS
-review applications
-initial contact with applicant
-check references
-assist nannies with online resume building of portfolios
-prepare applicant for interview

HIRING
-opportunity to interview candidates
-teach nannies how to work successfully with an agency
-help prepare applicants for placement with families


Must be be a quick study and assist with incoming calls from clients and caregivers.
Use internal software to assist with setting up temporary jobs and assigning jobs to temporary staff.
