Audio Visual Intern

SLCVC/America's Center seeks to recruit an intern for Spring 2013 to work in the Audio Visual Department of our building operations.  Must maintain at least a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in a related academic program.  Excellent interpersonal skills are critical.  Proficiency in video production skills required.  Prior A/V production experience is beneficial.  Work approximately 10-15 hours weekly (weekday mornings or afternoons) from March through May.  Hours of work are flexible.  Responsibilities:  - conduct research of production charges from competing venues and compile a client brochure - interact with production crews working with various spring events at America's Center - edit a promotional video which displays available production technology in SLCVC's Control Room  - conduct inventory of all archival video and convert to video compilation in review of past events  - monitor work orders for A/V related events  - assist Audio Visual Manager with miscellaneous projects (i.e. data entry, report generation & research).  This is an unpaid internship.  Please email letter of interest and resume to jobsexplorestlouis.com.
