Summer Camp Intern

• Assist with planning, organizing and implementing all Magic House summer camp programs.
• Assist with supervision of campers (ages 4-11), volunteers and staff as needed during sessions.
• Work with education staff to organize and prepare supplies.
• Participate in department meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours/week; Monday through Friday from Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, August 2; either morning sessions 9am-1pm or afternoons 1-5pm

Compensation: Unpaid; will work with interns to qualify for credit, if applicable

Qualifications Desired:

• Current student in good academic standing (junior or senior status preferred) or a recent graduate of a four-year college or university, with a declared major in education, child development or a related field.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills: helpful, friendly, patient attitude.
• Reliability and dependability.
