Internship Program evetos takes pride in our internship program. We have developed a multi-cultural internship program for various areas of our company that educates, encourages and engages students in a fun environment. While we prefer to work with colleges to help students earn credit towards their degree, if a student would just like to add a great internship experience to his/her resume, we accept that as well. evetos understands the student’s first priority is schoolwork and we respect, encourage and support this fully. We like to brag about the flexibility of our application – a philosophy that transfers directly into our daily work environment.
Social Media Description The social media intern will be responsible for assisting the social media team with marketing evetos using a variety of social communication mediums, including: · Google+ · Blogging

Schedule Start Date: January 1, 2013 End Date: May 1, 2013 Work Schedule: Flexible Hours per Week: 5-10, depending on the project
Required Education and Skills § Social Media, Communications, Journalism, and English majors preferred § Completed at least 60 hours of college courses; 15 hours in major NOTE: some projects will require an undergraduate degree § Excellent analytical skills § Proficient in general use of Internet and computers, writing § In-depth knowledge of social media § Working knowledge of copywriting § Self-starter; able to work independently § Proven record of completing projects in a timely manner § Programming experience preferred § Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Structure Under the direction of a team leader, the intern will work in focused areas and on specific projects while learning to operate in a team environment with direct access to Executive Management and gaining the real world experience needed to set the intern apart from the pack.
The evetos internship summary: § Flexibility to work from anywhere; team meetings are conducted using online conferences, video chats, e-mails and/or in person at a location convenient for the entire team. § All interns are evaluated using “consistent criteria”. § All projects include established goals and due dates, set by the evetos team leader. Goals and due dates must be consistently met by the intern to continue in the program. § The amount of hours worked per week and/or the amount of hours needed to complete a specific task are mutually agreed upon by the evetos team leader and the intern. When assigned to a project, interns are normally required to work a minimum (5) – maximum (10) hours per week. § The evetos team leader is responsible for providing proper guidance and leadership to assigned interns, including ongoing assessments and evaluations. § The intern’s performance will be reviewed every 90-120 days. § If the student is receiving course credit hours for the internship, any requirements set by the University must be met and are the responsibility of the intern.
evetos sees interns as prospective employees. We are selective with respect to hiring employees and we like to take some time to make sure they are a good fit with the DNA of the company.
We believe we train a better employee than we can hire. We think of the internship program as an extended interview. Both evetos and the intern have the benefit of a trial run prior to making a long-term commitment.
Confidentiality Any work associated with the internship is confidential and considered the property of evetos as outlined in an “Acknowledgement and Confidentiality Agreement” which must be executed, prior to the start of the internship, by evetos and the intern.
