Equal Opportunity Employer. � � Responsibilities � �Act as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services �Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documenting of contracts and agreements �Engage stakeholders to integrate project, customer, product, and service strategies into source selection and PO execution �Develop and issue requests for information, quotations, and proposals �Negotiate pricing and all other elements of the contract terms and condition �Document procurement decisions, create contract correspondence, and administer required contract changes �Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and performance �Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities �Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies �Participate in Strategic Agreement discussions with various stakeholders across multiple business units and assist in the preparation and execution of these agreements in order to lower overall supply chain costs �Verify required information (part number, quantity, required delivery date, delivery address, accounting code, and approval) is provided for all purchase requisitions and work with requestor to obtain necessary information when needed �Execute orders on the Dell Premier site and other vendor procurement sites; document transaction and follow-up on deliveries if required �Manage stock room inventory levels and order hardware as needed.� Document all equipment pulled from inventory and send to Accounts Payable with appropriate charge code � Requirements �Bachelors Degree or currently pursuing �IT purchasing experience preferred �Analytical Skills: collect, organize, analyze data – summarize findings in order to develop conclusions and recommendations �Project Management: basic ability to accept and perform responsibilities and work assigned tasks as a project team member in support of the overall project �Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite �The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented �This is a full time internship with the potential for transitioning to a permanent position If you meet the above requirements and are excited to join our growing firm, please click the link below to apply. � Only applications submitted electronically will be considered.� No phone calls, please. |
