Thompson Coburn LLP currently has an exempt position available in our St. Louis office for a full time Marketing Data Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience with managing multiple projects and deadlines.ï¿½Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor degree.ï¿½Experience in a marketing or business development-related field is preferred, as is work experience in a law firm or professionals services environment.ï¿½The person selected for this position must be able to work closely with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment.
Manages and maintains several of the firm’s marketing technology platforms and systems.
Acts as project manager over data projects and digital marketing initiatives (both long and short term projects), utilizing various tools and human resources to achieve results on-time with uncompromised quality.
Uses templates and best practices to create digital marketing deliverables and proposals on an as needed basis, to specification, and on-time, as dictated by the needs of the customer.
Maintains and expands the proposal database that serves as a library of proposal content that the department can leverage to efficiently and effectively respond to proposal and RFP requests.
Maintains and expands existing databases to capture, store and easily report upon matter experience and existing clients by specific criteria such as industry and geography.
Produces proposals, which include assembling different content elements into a cohesive proposal document, ensuring that the proposal is in compliance with the request for proposal.
Assists with preparation of submissions for various industry surveys and legal directories.
Reviews marketing materials, proposals, and resumes carefully for quality, content, format, accuracy and brand compliance.
Coordinates proposal production activities, including printing, distribution and delivery of documents and marketing materials.
Using various marketing technology tools and databases, provides data to update firm marketing materials including brochures and other practice-related content.
Provides assistance to end-users as functional and business process related questions arise by troubleshooting applications to provide solutions or workarounds.
Provides as needed training and guidance to attorneys and secretaries in proper use of firm marketing technology.
Creates and generates reports using SRS Report Builder.
Provides varying levels of formal and ad hoc assistance to internal clients requesting proposals assistance, firm information, marketing materials, and other assistance.
Provides back up support to the Marketing Technology Manager and Proposal Manager.
This position has the following requirements:

Ability to handle stress and a fast-paced work environment with quickly shifting and changing priorities.
Must be able to be proactive and work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be self-motivated with a high capacity to produce requested information.
Must possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills so as to be able to work well with employees at all levels within the organization and maintain all information in the strictest of confidence. ï¿½Required to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.
Must have ability to read, write and communicate fluent English; ability to compose documents in the appropriate business style using correct grammar and spelling; ability to communicate clearly using proper grammar and diction over the telephone.
Must have ability to reason and apply common-sense understanding to situations encountered.
Ability to process routine daily functions while being able to resolve sensitive issues and complex assignments utilizing above average critical thinking skills.
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order for him or her to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:
remain in a stationary position the majority of the work day;
be able to move about inside the office to access various items;
must be able to elevate and transport items up to 25 pounds; constantly operate office machinery including but not limited to computers, computer mouse, hand held devices, and copy machines
