About	In 1994, a small group of financial advisors collaborated to open the doors of a new financial firm, Renaissance Financial. Their mission: to use creative business and personal planning, to help clients achieve financial freedom, one relationship at a time. What makes Renaissance Financial unique is that it is a full service financial boutique for you or your business. You no longer need one person for life insurance, another for investments and someone else to help plan for your retirement. At Renaissance Financial, you can walk out of our door with a complete financial strategy in place. Renaissance Financial began with a small office in Clayton, Missouri. The business quickly grew through referrals and the addition of more financial advisors. As the firm has grown, so has the behind-the-scenes team that makes Renaissance Financial exceptional at the service we provide. After several years in operation, the original office in Clayton became too small and a new building was erected in Olivette, Missouri. The company continued to experience rapid growth as more advisors joined the team. In 2005, the firm broadened its horizons and opened an office in Omaha, Nebraska. Steve Kontz joined Renaissance Financial as president returning to his hometown to develop the team there. Shortly after that, further expansion occurred and an office was opened in Leawood, Kansas. Several years later, the St. Louis office made yet another move, relocating to the city where the office now overlooks Interstate 64/Highway 40 and Forest Park. With three offices throughout the Midwest, Renaissance Financial has become a team of over 140 individuals.
