Library No Cash Policy

cmArchitecture013S.jpg: bulk load

NO CASH IN THE LIBRARY

  • Cash and check transactions will no longer take place in the library.
  • All bills and overdue charges for Fontbonne Library circulating items are automatically applied to the student's university account.
  • For all other charges (copy card, etc.), the Library will record transactions by hand and send the charges to the business office on a daily basis.
  • For a charge to take place, the student must present their Fontbonne ID and/or State ID and initial the appropriate form.

Photocopier

  • The Library has one public copier on the first floor of the building. It accepts coins, $1 bills and copy cards.
  • Copy cards are available at the Circulation Desk in $5 increments and are billed to the student's university account.
  • Alternatively, anyone may ask for a BLANK copy card at the Circulation Desk and may add value at the copier themselves. The value is permanently placed on the card; we cannot "undo" any transactions made this way.
  • The Circulation Desk in the Library will no longer be able to provide change; however, there is a change machine on the 1st Floor of Ryan Hall near the vending machines.
