Join Fontbonne at the Great Forest Park Balloon Race
For the fifth year in a row, Fontbonne University is sponsoring a balloon in The Great Forest Park Balloon Race. There are many ways to become involved with the balloon race and show off your Griffin Spirit!
As an incentive to show your Fontbonne pride, anyone who attends the balloon race and stops by the Fontbonne tent sporting their Fontbonne attire on Friday or Saturday will be entered to win one of 2- $50 VISA gift cards!

The Great Forest Park Balloon Race Schedule of Events
BALLOON GLOW - Friday, September 16, 2011
Park location: Central Field in Forest Park (near the Jewel Box), 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Firework display at 9 p.m.
BALLOON RACE - Saturday, September 17, 2011
Cheer on the lucky Fontbonne student selected to ride in the Griffin balloon! And stop by our tent.
Park location: Central Field by the Jewel Box, Sat., noon – 6 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, Sept. 18)

Sept. 17
Noon - Purina Children’s Entertainment Area Opens
Stop by the Fontbonne tent and enter drawings for big prizes if wearing Fontbonne attire!!
1 p.m. - Entertainment Stage Opens
2 p.m. - Photo Contest begins.
2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Skydivers
3:30 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies
4:30 p.m. - Energizer Hot “Hare” Balloon Launch
4:45 p.m. - “Hound” Balloon Launch begins – Go, Fontbonne!!!
