Who can participate? Any student who will be registered during the 2012-2013 academic year.
When are the trips?
Kansas City, MO, March 22-25, 2013
Belize, June 1-9, 2013
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE KANSAS CITY TRIP IS CURRENTLY FULL. There are still spots available for Belize. (updated 2/6/13)
What type of work will we be doing?
In Kansas City, we will partner with local organizations to assist a variety of needs in the city. In Belize, we will work alongside members of the Jesuit Volunteer Corp to construct much needed school libraries in rural villages.
How much does it cost?
The trip to Kansas City is only $60, and Belize is $1200.
That's expensive! What all does that include? Everything! Your travel, all your meals, and lodging. In Belize, you'll have an opportunity to spend two nights on Caye Caulker where you can take the opportunity to go snorkeling in the Caribbean. This will be an additional cost to you!
How do I pay?
A deposit of $50 is required to hold your spot for the Belize trip. All payments must be submitted to the Business Office, Ryan 215 and a copy of your receipt should be submitted to the Student Affairs office located on the first floor of Ryan Hall. There will be a few fundraising opportunties for the Belize trip.
You must have your payment for the Kansas City trip by March 1, 2013. For Belize, we are financially committed to airfare 90 days prior to the trip. Therefore we need you to be fully committed to the trip and its cost by March 1st as well..
