Where am I?

African Impact Service Trip

Destination: KENYA

Along with the departments of Campus Ministry; International Affairs; and Service, Diversity, and Social Justice, FISH is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to work alongside children in Limuru, Kenya with African Impact.

 

 

 

Who can participate? Any student who will be registered during the 2011-2012 academic year.

When is the trip?  June 2-17, 2012

How much does it cost? $3700 for those who registered early, $3900 for those who register after Sept. 1.

That's expensive!  What all does that include?  You'll receive a FULL 14 days in Africa, round trip airfare to Nairobi, Kenya, ground transportation to and from our work sites, most meals, clean drinking water, comfortable lodging at Brackenhurst Conference Center, a weekend excursion to the Masai Mara, travel insurance, and program fees associated with African Impact.

How do I pay?

All payments must be submitted to the Business Office, Ryan 215 and a copy of your receipt should be submitted to the Student Affairs office located on the first floor of Ryan Hall. Below is a suggested payment schedule:

Pre-Sept. 1 Registrants

Fri, Sept. 16 $925
Fri, Dec. 9 $925
Fri, Feb. 17 $925
Fri, Apr. 6 $925

Post-Sept. 1 Registrants

Fri, Sept. 16 $975
Fri, Dec. 9 $975
Fri, Feb. 17 $975
Fri, Apr. 6 $975

If you choose not to follow the payment schedule, please note HALF OF THE TRIP FEE  IS DUE, FRIDAY, DEC. 9.  The remaining half is DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 6.

We are financially committed to airfare 90 days prior to the trip. Therefore if you cancel your trip after Friday, March 2, we will keep your money to cover losses on airfare.
