Welcome to Campus Ministry at Fontbonne University!

The Campus Ministry staff is eager to know each of you. We are here to hear your story and walk with you spiritually during your time at Fontbonne. God loves you and wants you to become the best version of yourself while making a difference in the world, therefore we want to join with you on your journey of faith, provide opportunities for you to share your faith and to develop spiritual practices, and to grow in your relationship with God and with others. We also support opportunties for service through FISH, a student service organization. We desire to be inclusive all students and realize we have much to learn from them!

To echo our school motto, the key is to continue learning so that you can evolve as a spiritual being, a child of God, in a way that transforms yourself and the world around you. Know we continually think and pray for you and look forward to the next time that we’ll see you.

Below is a table of the events and programs we have scheduled for Spring Semester 2010. If there is something not here that you would love to see a part of Campus Ministry, do not hesitate to share this idea. You can contact Sarah Boul, director of campus ministry, at any time at sboul@fontbonne.edu.

History

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet founded and continue to sponsor Fontbonne University. When their order was founded in 1650, the sisters served those around them in whatever way they could, hoping that God would work through them to touch the people they served. The Sisters talked of this as "connecting neighbor to neighbor, and neighbor with God." Fontbonne's Campus Ministry office continues this 350-year tradition in today's world, connecting with students wherever they are physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
