Faith Community: Small Groups and Chapels
Campus Ministry offers a variety of spiritual programs to help nurture the faith community at Fontbonne University. It’s important to come together to fellowship, to pray, to explore other faith traditions, to learn more about your own tradition, and to work towards a deeper understanding and affection for the God who unites us all.

Small Faith Sharing Groups meet weekly. The students who come together for faith sharing do so to grow in their relationship with God, to develop as spiritual leaders, to have fun together, and to be challenged to practice their faith in all they do. Each semester the content of Small Groups are different but you can always count on good conversation and good fellowship. For the Spring 2012 semester, the following small groups are planned: Wednesday Interfaith Group from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Interfaith Chapel and Thursday Disciple Group from 2:30-3:30 pm in the Interfaith Chapel. Small Groups begin the week of February 5.

Faith Workout Series is not a series of physical exercise routines but instead is a series of spiritual exercises. Do you grow tired of your same old way of prayer? Are you interested in learning from a Buddhist or a yoga instructor or student who has discovered something useful? If so, you’ll find the FWS is refreshing to your spirit. FWS activities take place four times in the spring semester.
- Doerr Chapel and the Interfaith Chapel are both great places on campus to seek away to for your own time of prayer and reflection. The Interfaith Chapel, located near the AMC on the first floor of Medaille Hall, has a variety of resources for your use including prayer mats, mala beads, rosaries, and literature on a variety of faith traditions. Doerr Chapel, located on the 2nd floor of Ryan Hall and named after alum Martha Hatch Doerr, is our primary location for weekly liturgies but is also available to you as a place of prayer and solitude.
- Bible Studies are created based on interest. If you would like to gather with a small group of folks to study Scripture together, email Sarah Boul, Director of Campus Ministry, at sboul@fontbonne.edu.
