How to:

To apply for University housing click on one of the links below, print and fill out the Fall 2011-Spring 2012 housing application contract packet. Pricing, Medical forms and the application contract are included in the packet below. Send completed information with your $200 housing deposit in check or money order to the Residential Life office. If you wish you can also pay your housing deposit by phone with a credit card through the Business Office, 314-889-1405. If you do pay by credit card, applications can then be scanned and emailed to reslife@fontbonne.edu.

  • Reasonable consideration is given to the student's request for room accommodations and roommate(s). However, the contract is for space in university housing and not for a particular room or roommate.
  • The first time housing applicant receives a standing number based on class status, and the date the housing application contract and $200 deposit are received from the first time applicant.
  • First time applicants who choose to cancel their application or not accespt a room assignment, will receive a deposit refund less the $25.00 processing fee.
  • All room cancellations must be in writing and received in the Residential Life office before June 1 for fall housing or December 1 for spring housing. No refunds will be given after those deadlines.
  • This pricing and application contract information are for the Fall 2011-Spring 2012 academic year. Pricing subject to change without notification.

The following application contracts are for the Fall 2011-Spring 2012 

 Housing Application Deadlines

  • May 1st- Priority Deadline for fall housing assignment
  • June 1st - Deadline to cancel housing and receive a deposit refund
  • August 1st- Medical Form Deadline for Fall semester
  • December 1st- Priority Deadline for spring housing assignment
  • January 1st- Medical Form Deadline for Spring semester
  • April 15th- Priority Deadline for summer housing assignment

Screening and Immunization Requirements for Residents

All first time resident and international students must have the following screening and immunizations to live in Fontbonne University housing. ANY student failing to complete these requirement may jeopardize their housing assignment and may not be allowed to register for classes. Resident students including International students must provide their documentation to the Residential Life Office.

  • Tuberculin Screening Test (PPD) must be less than 6 months old prior to moving into university housing. This screening CAN NOT be received outside the United States. The University will not accept this if received out of the states.
  • Meningococcal vaccine for meningitis
  • Mumps vaccine The childhood combination vaccine of mumps, measles and rubella (MMR) is acceptable.

The deadline for the medical form with shot documentation is August 1 for the fall semester; January 1 for the spring semester. You will not be allowed to move in if the Residential Life office does not have your shot information prior to opening day. Failure to submit documentation of the required vaccinations does not alleviate your contractual responsibility with the University Residential Life office. If you are in need of a medical form, please download and print form here: Resident Medical Health Form (pdf, 85.97KB).
