Residence Halls
Fontbonne University has three on-campus residence halls and one off-campus apartment complex. Current residents have first choice to available space. Housing applications (with a deposit) received before May 1 are given priority assignments. Room assignments are emailed in June. If you apply for housing after May 1, room assignments are emailed the last week of July. Fall housing contracts are for the full academic year.
- St. Joseph Hall is designed for double occupancy. These rooms share a centrally located community bath.
- Medaille Hall is designed for single occupancy. Many of these rooms have a shared bath.
- Southwest Hall is designed for apartment-style living.
- Cotta Hall is designed for apartment-style living and is located off campus.
For more detailed information about living on campus, visit the Student Affairs Office in Medaille Hall and contact Lisa Clanton, Assistant Director of Residence Life. A $200.00 deposit is required to accompany the housing application contract.

St. Joseph's Hall
St. Joseph Hall houses approximately 124 undergraduate students. The first floor contains a lounge with computers, printer, TV's, and study tables. Our game room has a billiard table and air hockey game. The laundry room and two classrooms are also located on the first floor. Programming and support are available to help new residents transition from home to campus life.
The 2011-2012 room and board prices below includes the cost of the 14-meal plan for the full academic year.

Medaille Hall
Most of Medaille Hall is designed for single occupancy, however, it does have some double and triple rooms available. Many of the rooms have been reserved by current residents. The population in this hall is predominantly juniors, seniors and graduate students. Lounges are located on the mezzanine and third floors. The fourth floor has a kitchenette for resident use only. Computers with internet access are located in the AMC.

Southwest Hall
Fontbonne offers apartment-style suites as an exciting housing option. Nine suites are located on the third floor of Southwest Hall. The co-ed population is predominantly juniors, seniors and graduate students. The third floor contains laundry facilities and a study room with internet accessible computers. The building is also home to the fine arts department on the first and second floors.
The 2011-2012 room prices below DO NOT include the cost of a meal plan. This is the cost per occupant for the full academic year. There are 4 occupants to an apartment.

Common Features
All facilities are smoke free environments. Each on-campus hall is unique in its own way, however they all share some great features:
- All on-campus residents have a mailbox located on the main floor of Medaille Hall.
- Local phone service is available in each resident's room and is included in the price of the room. Students must provide their own touch-tone phone to access their voicemail system.
- Basic cable service is provided for the residence halls. Approximately 40 channels are available for viewing. Residents have 24-hour access to computer labs located in Medaille, St. Joseph and Southwest Halls. Students with personal computers have wireless Internet access in their room.
- Laundry facilities are available in each hall. The cost is the same: $1.00 for both washers and dryers.

- Vending machines are available in the residence halls.
Due to limited storage, seasonal clothing should be brought and exchanged during the off season.
Cotta Hall
Fontbonne University has Cotta Hall as its off campus housing for Graduate students, MBA International students and some traditional age students. It is a two bedroom apartment with either a 9-1/2 month lease for the traditional student or an 11 month lease. Contracts run from August to May for traditional and Graduate level students and August through July for some International programs. The start dat of the Cotta Hall application contract is determined by the student's academic program. The rent is $575.00 for the larger bedroom and $550.00 for the smaller bedroom per month. The housing deposit of $200.00 must accompany the housing application contract. The furnished apartments are located within walking distance from campus. Local phone, cable and internet service is available in each apartment. Laundry facilities are located in the basement of Cotta Hall. There are no family accommodations available.
Residents are responsible for their own meals. If interested in dining on campus, students can enroll in the Griffin Bucks, a declining balance debit card. You must have money in your account to be able to purchase coffee or meals in the Ryan Hall cafeteria or the Griffin Grill.
Fontbonne University is a smoke free campus. All university sponsored housing, on campus and off, are smoke free environments.
