Fontbonne University has an award-winning student newspaper-The Fontbanner-which is advised by the English and Communication department. Staff positions on the Fontbanner are available for credit (through the Newspaper Workshop course) and for fun. Through involvement with the Fontbanner, students have the opportunity to learn writing, interviewing, computer layout, photography and editing, plus develop a portfolio to show prospective employers.
