For Fontbonne students, faculty and staff, this is a great opportunity to “walk the walk,” as we fan out across the St. Louis metropolitan area for our annual campus-wide community service effort called FONTBONNE DAY!

Here’s what the day looks like:
8:00 Registration (DSAC Gym)
8:15 Welcome and Introductions

Fontbonne Day is a work/service day for all full-time faculty and staff.
Students are encouraged to carpool with other students to the service site. Staff, faculty and administrators must have an Illinois or a Missouri Class E license to drive students. Students, get a few friends together to lend a hand!
Everyone must register for Fontbonne Day online. Registration will close on Wednesday, April 9th. Every participant will receive a free t-shirt. Sign up by April 1st to help ensure accurate ordering (sizes not guaranteed).

"Knit/Crochet in Board Room of Library for the Dent County Animal Welfare Society". Knit or crochet squares to be pieced together to make blankets for rescued animals. If unable to knit or crochet, helpers can also attach the squares together. Donated craft yarn will be provided for use until the supply runs out. |

Volunteers will be knitting or crocheting PURPLE newborn baby caps. Volunteers should bring their own knitting needles or crochet hooks and a pattern for a NEWBORN cap. Yarn will be provided, but feel free to bring your own PURPLE (any shade) yarn. Get started now and bring some finished caps to show off. |
