Service Spotlight - Big Brothers Big Sisters

 

Join Fontbonne University in helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri reach its goal of getting 600 new volunteers in 6 months. Fontbonne University has set a school goal of 25 new volunteers by November.

By building a trusting friendship with a child, you can make a powerful impact on his/her life.

There are an estimated 100,000 children in Eastern Missouri who are in serious need of a Big Brother or Big Sister. Be there to make a difference for them.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States.

 

Be There Now Campaign:

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri is excited to announce the launch of its Be There Now! campaign.
• The campaign aims to recurit 600 new volunteers in the next 6 months.
• To reach this goal, Big Brothers Big Sisters is calling on all of its dedicated volunteers to help generate awareness and inspire others to Be There Now!

 

Why:

• More than 1,000 children are waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister.
• Many of these children face multiple challenges.

 

Who can volunteer:

• Faculty and Staff
• Upperclassmen (Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors)
