Caps, Gowns, Class Rings, Announcements
All students participating in Commencement are required to wear appropriate academic attire.
You may pre-order your cap and gown online and then pay and pick up at the Fontbonne’s Bookstore on the first floor of Ryan Hall after April 16, 2013. If you did not pre-order your cap and gown, you may purchase one at the Bookstore beginning April 17. Cap and gown that are purchased after May 10, 2013, will be subject to a $10 additional late fee. Cap and gowns are available on main campus only.
Fontbonne Bookstore will host a special events on April 17 and 18. You may order announcements, class rings (at 40% off) and other commencement products. Please note that custom announcements require at least 3 weeks for delivery. Rings and announcements may be ordered at any time from Jostens directly. Caps and gowns will continue to be available for purchase in the bookstore through May 10.

Monday through Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm; Friday: 9:00am - 2:00pm Closed Saturday and Sunday
The Bookstore will be open the day of commencement for emergency purchases.
Additional Information:
Undergraduate tassels are to be worn on the right side of the cap until the announcement is made at the ceremony to formally move the tassels to the left side. Graduate tassels are worn on the left side at all times.
The Office of Academic Affairs will notify undergraduate students who have earned graduation (Latin) honors. Latin Honors recipients are eligible to wear honor cords, which will be provided by the University, with their gowns. The honor cords will be distributed at the Honors Convocation on Friday, May 3, 2013. If someone is unable to attend the Honors Convocation, the cords may be picked up from the Registrar's office in Ryan 205. Master degree candidates do not wear honor cords.
Graduate and Undergraduate candidates are invited to wear the stole and pins that they have received at the Convocation Ceremonies held throughout their years at Fontbonne University.
