Vaccination Clinics

All international students applying to the university are required to have immunizations to complete the application requirements.

International students living in off campus housing are required to have the following vaccines:

  • Mumps
  • Tuberculosis screening (PPD) (MUST BE COMPLETED IN THE USA)

International students living in university sponsored housing are required to have the following vaccines:

  • Mumps
  • Meningitis
  • Tuberculosis screening (PPD) (MUST BE COMPLETED IN THE USA)

Fall Vaccination Clinic is on Tuesday, August 19, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Located on the first floor of Medaille Hall.

Tuberculosis readings are on Thursday, August 21, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. 

IMPORTANT:  Failure to receive the required immunizations or submit documentation from your country jeopardizes your housing but does not alleviate your contract responsibilities with Fontbonne University Department of Residential Life. Students will not be allowed to register for classes in the following semester if the required vaccination documents are not provided.

If you do not receive the required vaccinations, you will not be allowed to attend classes for the current semester. If you do not attend classes, your immigration record will be negatively affected.

Immunization Costs

  1. $28.00 - Tuberculin Test (TB/PPD) - This 2 part screening that CAN NOT be received outside the United States and WILL NOT be accepted if received outside the United States.
  2. $148.00 - Meningococcal vaccine - This is for meningitis and can be received in your country.
  3. $95.00 - Mumps vaccine - The MMR vaccine of mumps, measles and rubella is acceptable and can be received in your country.

If you failed to keep your scheduled appointment vaccination, costs will still be applied to your student account, and you will be responsible for payment.

University insurance will cover the MMR and Menactra vaccinations. Univeristy insured students must pay a $20 co-pay for the tuberculosis skin test at the time the vaccination is administered. Students with Atena Insurance must file a claim with Atena for reimbursement.
