SOAR HIGHER

Explore the possibilities of learning and life at one of the Midwest’s premier private, small universities.

Celebrating 100 years of serving the dear neighbor without distinction.

The centennial celebration in the history of a university is a special time, one that allows both reflection upon the institution’s past while envisioning the future. For Fontbonne, the academic year of 2022-2023 marks that significant anniversary with a full schedule of religious, academic, athletic and social gatherings. Many of the planned activities center around our Catholic identity and the relationship Fontbonne shares with its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ).

Step into your future—at Fontbonne University.

Open your mind. Follow your heart. Take the leap. Challenging, welcoming, affordable, with over 100 diverse areas of study to choose from, Fontbonne will prepare you for an engaged and rewarding life, no matter how you’re called to serve.

Katie Leeker, Class of 2024

Fontbonne nourishes a learning community that promotes the common good and encourages an atmosphere of mutual respect, inclusion, and understanding. I have been allowed to grow in compassion, integrity, and virtue while I am both inside and outside of the classroom. Catholic schooling guides the value of all, creating a community of learners that can make the world a more inclusive and loving space.Learn more about our values

Blake Klenke Class of 2022 and 2024

I decided to come to Fontbonne because of the community feel right when i stepped foot on this campus. I felt like, i was at home. I wasnt sure if i was college bound at first or what i wanted to do with my life, but when i visited this campus for the first time I knew it was home. The welcoming community here, the professors before I was here as a student made the approach to connect with me and help me make an easy choice to become a griffin.Learn more about visits

Anna Muhama of 2025

Groups like FISA are important because they bring international and domestic students together to learn from each other about different cultures and backgrounds. The International Bazzar is important because the diverse cultures around our campus come together to share their culture and traditions.Learn more about Multicultural Affairs
