Adjusted Business Hours

At the end of the week (March 20, 2020) the Kinkel Center will be moving all support resources to online/virtual format. Phone and email will continue to be monitored during standard business hours, Monday-Friday: 8:00-4:30.

Virtual Meetings

The Kinkel Center will be offering Academic Support and Accommodations through virtual meetings. Meetings with Kinkel Center staff can still be scheduled online here.

Academic Support Resources Updates

Testing Center

With courses moving online, proctored exams will not be required. Therefore, the testing center will close by end of day Wednesday, March 17. Students should contact their instructors if they have questions about testing and testing accommodations.

Subject-Based Tutoring and Writing Services

All tutoring and writing support that had previously been available face-to-face will be moved to an online format through WC Online. A guide explaining how to schedule and use online appointments will be posted to the Academic Support Resources Schoology course.

Students will also continue to have access to online tutoring for most subjects through ThinkingStorm, which can be accessed in the Academic Support Resources Schoology course.

Students will also continue to be able to send writing assignments for review to Writing@fontbonne.edu.

Peer Academic Coaching

Students will continue to have access to Peer Academic Coaching through WC Online online appointments. A guide explaining how to schedule and use online appointments will be posted to the Academic Support Resources Schoology course.

Academic Accommodations

Students can schedule appointments for accommodations consultation and support online through WC Online. A guide explaining how to schedule and use online appointments will be posted to the Academic Support Resources Schoology course. Students may also contact the Academic Support and Accommodations Coordinator (Regina Wade Johnson) at rwadejohnson@fontbonne.edu.
