Message From the President

Dr. Pressimone outside of Ryan Hall.

The Fontbonne Promise is a unique opportunity for first-time, first-year students in Missouri who are calculated with an expected family contribution of zero on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The university will award full tuition and fees for five years to at least 30 Fall 2018 freshmen.

Students who qualify for The Fontbonne Promise will receive a financial aid award that covers full tuition and fees — loan free. The scholarship funding will be made possible through a combination of state aid, Fontbonne aid and donor contributions. All recipients will have access to federal loans for housing options on campus and other educational expenses, but they will not need them to cover the tuition cost of earning a bachelor’s degree.

Donors can sponsor a student for $8,500 a year for five years. Or any amount can be donated toward this fund to help deserving students achieve their dream.
