Nearly half of our undergraduate students have transferred to Fontbonne University from another institution. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition.

Our Phi Theta Kappa scholarships are offered to transfer students who have been active members of their local PTK chapters. These scholarships recognize the academic achievements of students who wish to continue the mission of excellence instilled in them as members of PTK.

Scholarship Opportunities

Learn more about the PTK Recognition Scholarship

$1,000 renewable annually per academic year

Students eligible for the PTK Recognition Scholarship must:

be transferring from a two-year institution where student is a PTK member
be a PTK member at time of admission
provide documentation of membership – transcript, certificate or membership card

Learn more about the PTK Leadership Scholarship

$2,000 renewable annually per academic year

Students eligible for the competitive PTK Leadership Scholarship must:

meet eligibility requirements for PTK Recognition Scholarship
complete an application
complete an interview with Fontbonne transfer counselors
submit a letter of recommendation from PTK advisor (to indicate involvement)

This scholarship is best for students with:

reliable transportation
strong written/verbal communication skills and people skills
flexible hours
involvement in local chapter

Recipients of this scholarship will:

work 60 hours/semester
be involved with Fontbonne Student Ambassadors (FSA)
visit local PTK chapters – mileage will be paid to students
attend PTK induction ceremonies (and corresponding fairs, when applicable)
make phone calls
partner with ODK
