Response to COVID-19

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the St. Louis County stay-at-home orders, Fontbonne University is offering a variety of virtual experiences until we are able to safely return to campus.

We can’t wait to enthusiastically start welcoming visitors again, but in the meantime, check out our virtual campus tour, schedule Zoom meetings with admission counselors, and more on our virtual experience page!

Campus Visits

To find out if Fontbonne is the right fit for you, experience it for yourself in person. Whether you’re nearing high school graduation, transferring from another undergraduate college or looking for the right graduate program for pursuing your goals, we have a tour to fit your interests and aspirations.

Visit Options

Personal Tours

Fontbonne Student Ambassadors provide personal campus tours Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. during regular school sessions.

During summer, tours are available Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and on Friday at 10 a.m.

Please note that campus is closed for holiday breaks at various times throughout the year, so please check the campus calendar to help plan your visit.

Preview Events

Join us for one of our special preview events, where you can:

  • Tour campus
  • Meet faculty and students
  • Learn about financial aid and scholarships
  • Check out academic programs, sports and activities

During each of these events, our admission counselors, staff and student ambassadors will be ready to meet you and help answer any questions you may have.

  • Wednesday, February 5, 4:30 p.m. (Battle of Big Bend; registration includes a free Fontbonne t-shirt!)

Walk-In Wednesdays

Walk-In Wednesdays are available to transfer students who want to visit campus.

If you’re searching for a university where your talents, goals—and prior credits—will be honored and accepted, stop by Fontbonne University on a Wednesday for a no-pressure, no-appointment visit.

At Fontbonne, we understand that transfer students have unique educational backgrounds. We’ll work with you to provide the flexibility, personalization and support you seek.

Walk-In Wednesday Highlights:

  • Meet with one of our transfer counselors.
  • Talk to faculty and maybe even current students.
  • Tour our beautiful, historic campus.
  • To receive an optional preliminary admission decision and advice on scholarship eligibility, bring your unofficial transcripts with you.

Join us on Wednesdays anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. without scheduling an appointment.

Insider's Pass

Experience what it feels like to be a student in a Fontbonne University class! During the month of March, any student can visit a Fontbonne University class. Just sign up via the link below and receive a complimentary Starbucks coffee when you check in!

Saturday Visits

We know it can be hard to carve out time during the week, which is why we offer special opportunities to visit campus on a Saturday! You’ll enjoy all the perks of our other preview days, without having to take time away from school or work.

Fontbonne University is located at the southeast corner of Big Bend and Wydown Blvd. Parking is available on campus.

Heading West on Hwy 40/64: Exit at Big Bend Blvd. Turn right onto Big Bend, and continue along Big Bend for about one mile. Turn right onto Wydown Blvd. The University’s main horseshoe drive is immediately on your right.

Heading East on Hwy 40/64: Exit at Big Bend Blvd. Turn left onto Big Bend, and continue along Big Bend for about one mile. Turn right onto Wydown Blvd. The University’s main horseshoe driveway is immediately on your right.

Hotel Information

Homewood Suites is centrally located to St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and is in Richmond Heights adjacent to the city of Clayton, where Fontbonne is located.

Residence Inn by Marriott St. Louis Galleria is located in Richmond Heights, which is just a few minutes from Fontbonne’s campus and a short walk/drive from restaurants, shopping and more.

Springhill Suites Marriott is located in Brentwood, which is next to our Brentwood campus and just a few minutes from our main Clayton campus. No shuttle; approximately a $30 taxi ride from the airport to the hotel.

The Sheraton Clayton has a shuttle from the airport. Reserve it when you make your room reservation. If you need shuttle service from the hotel to Fontbonne, please make arrangements with the hotel.
