Continue Your Education with Us

We’re thrilled that you’re interested in applying to Fontbonne University. Below, you’ll find more information regarding application requirements, important deadlines and the timeline for admission.
Note that all application periods are Rolling Admission. Fontbonne reviews applications as they are completed and makes admission decisions throughout the admission cycle.

To be admitted, you must have earned:

  • Average (GPA) of a cumulative 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. If you have earned less than 15 credit hours, please submit your high school transcript and SAT/ACT score.

If you fail to meet any one or more of these standards, your application may receive special consideration by the Vice President for Enrollment Management. We want to get to know you so that we can take a deeper dive into the factors outside of academics that we know can contribute to student success at the University. If you are in this situation, please reach out to our staff so we can best support you.

All acceptable candidates currently enrolled in college courses must successfully complete all work in progress and submit, upon graduation, an official transcript showing all work completed, including their date of graduation if applicable. We recommend your transcript be on file prior to final registration.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The university awards merit based scholarships to students who are admitted to the university. To be eligible, students must apply for full-time (12-18 credit hours), degree-seeking status. Fontbonne also encourages applicants to apply for financial aid consideration to help assist with the cost of attendance.

Fontbonne Community College Commitment

Our commitment to associate’s degree earners is to create the most transparent and easily navigated enrollment process in the St. Louis area. First, we remove the confusion surrounding a sticker price with scholarships and offer you a flat tuition rate of $15,000/year or $7,500/semester. You can then apply your state, federal and loan money to decrease this cost. In addition, if you are part of Phi Theta Kappa on your campus, you are eligible for a Phi Theta Kappa scholarship (details below).

Second, we offer a number of articulation agreements with local community colleges to ensure you are making the most of your time and money. We will review your credits at the point of admission and give you a thorough analysis of what requirements you have left and how long they should take you to complete. We hope our support through this process decreases the stress of transition and increases the likelihood we get you to your bachelor’s degree!
