Scholarships

Creating Opportunity for All Eligible Students

Nearly 87 percent of Fontbonne students receive financial aid in a given academic year. To our students, every dollar provides for their future.

When you support Fontbonne scholarships, you invest in a mission-centered and values-based, Catholic education for people who otherwise could not afford it. Your generosity creates graduates who will go forth and serve the dear neighbor without distinction for life. Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. We invite you to invest in their future.

Create an Endowed Scholarship

An endowed scholarship leaves a legacy to Fontbonne students in perpetuity. You can create an endowed scholarship in your name or to honor someone special. A gift of $25,000 or greater establishes an endowed scholarship, and once your scholarship reaches the endowment level, a percentage of the scholarship is awarded each year. The Advancement office and the office of Financial Aid ensure that the awards align with your scholarship intentions.

For information about how to make a gift of endowed scholarship, please contact Jeff Brown Director of Philanthropy, at jbrown@fontbonne.edu or (314) 719-3607.

Contribute to a Fontbonne Promise Scholarship

Fontbonne Promise Partners commit to supporting one student with $10,000 per year for five years so they can graduate debt-free. When you become a Fontbonne Promise Partner, you will be paired with a student who directly benefits from your generosity.

Company gift matches, stock gifts or combined support from multiple donors are accepted.

Fontbonne Annual Scholarship Program

A named annual scholarship can be created with a minimum gift of $2,000. While we encourage a multi-year commitment for the success of the program, we will consider a year-to-year offer if requested.

For more information, please contact Wendi Valenti at (314) 889-4712 or annualgiving@fontbonne.edu.
