Choose a Space that Fits You

Do you enjoy studying with others and sharing downtime in your own space? Perhaps you long for a place that’s entirely your own? At Fontbonne, we offer a variety of housing options designed to meet different student needs and comfort levels. Traditional double rooms are generally home to first time and second year students. Single, double and triple rooms, suites and apartment-style four-person suites are also available on campus.

St. Joseph's Hall: Traditional

Perfect for incoming first-year students, this residence hall allows for fast connections with other students just embarking on their college career and is also the most affordable of all campus housing options.

Medaille Hall: Suites

As students settle into campus life and transition into upperclassmen, they begin to seek accommodations with more privacy but still with easy access to campus services and the security of campus housing staff. Although some suites vary in their specific dimensions*, residents enjoy semi-private bathrooms and individual privacy.

Carondelet Hall: Apartments

The apartment style residence hall offers the independence upperclassmen prefer, along with the convenience and many benefits campus living provides. Students may choose between taking an active role in campus life and activities or stepping away to enjoy their privacy. Apartment residents may also stay for holidays, fall and spring semester breaks.

East Hall: Living Learning Community

The third floor of East Hall will be newly renovated as a residence hall floor and innovative space where faculty, residence life staff and students will connect in a unique community, focused on learning. This multi-purpose space will include double, triple, and quad room housing options, community space, and learning areas.

Room Rates

Reasonable consideration is given to the student’s request for specific accommodations, room and roommate. However, the contract is for space in university housing, not for a particular building, floor, room or roommate. Pricing is based on room size, occupancy, and bathroom accommodations. When necessary, placement in a triple room or on a wait list is possible. Your housing assignment is not final until approval from Financial Aid is received. If approval is not received by July 1, the resident loses priority status for room selection preference. We encourage you to retain a copy of your complete housing application contract for your record. Check out traditional, block meal and apartment plans and costs at Campus Dining and Meal Plans.

Housing contracts and costs are for a full academic year.
