Missing Student Program
In accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, Fontbonne University has established a missing student program for those students living on campus. Participation in this program is optional. View Fontbonne’s full Missing Student Policy (pdf).
When you register, two types of information will be requested:
- Information to aid in locating you if you are reported missing.
- A contact person to be notified if you are determined to be missing.
The information submitted is considered to be confidential and will only be used if you are reported missing. Only Fontbonne officials investigating reports of your disappearance will have access to the information. The information will be released to law enforcement officials if your disappearance is reported to the police.
If you are a resident student and choose to participate in this program, you must register once each academic year when you move into a residence hall for the summer, fall or spring term. All information is maintained in a secured file and is purged from the system annually at the close of spring term. To register, please complete this Missing Student Registration form.
