The centennial celebration in the history of a university is a special time, one that allows both reflection upon the institution’s past while envisioning the future. For Fontbonne, the academic year of 2022-2023 marks that significant anniversary with a full schedule of religious, academic, athletic and social gatherings. Many of the planned activities center around our Catholic identity and the relationship Fontbonne shares with its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ).
Throughout the year. guest speakers from across the United States as well as current and emeriti faculty will give lectures on campus. Student organizations, clubs, and athletic teams will be highlighted and honored. The year will conclude with a festive gala; a heritage trip to France, the home of Mother St. John Fontbonne, and a student service encounter in Peru where the CSJs live out their charism of serving the dear neighbor without distinction.
Join us for one or all of these as Fontbonne honors the past while embracing the future!
