Pujols Foundation Rep Comes to Campus for Dedicated Semester Event

Jennifer Cooper, program manager for the Pujols Family Foundation, will speak at Fontbonne University Wednesday, Oct. 19, at noon in the Lewis Room of Fontbonne’s Taylor Library. Cooper will specifically share information about the foundation’s support of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

This event is part of the 2011 Dedicated Semester, “ The Disability Experience: Quest for Empowerment.”

Founded by Cardinal’s first baseman Albert Pujols and his wife Diedre, the Pujols Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization, benefits people with Down syndrome, disabilities and/or life threatening illnesses, as well as children and families living in impoverished conditions in the Dominican Republic.
