US Foods LogoA new partnership with US Foods, a national foodservice distributor, provides additional educational, professional and scholarship support for students enrolled in the 2017-18 certified dietary manager training program at Fontbonne University. Students employed by a current US Foods customer or partner are eligible to participate.

Fontbonne’s dietary manager training program, which includes both classroom and field experience components, is designed for individuals currently working in a healthcare facility, school or day care center, or correctional institution. Eight-hour classes are held on Fontbonne’s campus every other Wednesday Sept. 6, 2017 — May 2, 2018. The program, which cultivates skills related to clinical nutrition, requires at least 150 hours and prepares students to sit for the national certification exam of the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals.

US Foods will provide eligible students a financial scholarship of up to $400 toward the cost of registering for the certification exam.
