Overview

This scholarship offers full tuition for up to 10 semesters of continuous, full-time, undergraduate enrollment at Fontbonne University. We appreciate your attention to the change in scheduled dates for interviews and
scholarship application deadlines, as listed below. 

*Scholarship applications are due by March 31, 2024.

**Interviews will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

 

*Submission deadline moved from February 9, 2024 to March 31, 2024.
**Event date moved from February 17, 2024 to April 6, 2024.

Event Information

O’Neill Stroble Presidential Scholars Day will include an individual interview with our faculty and a panel discussion with current Presidential Scholar students.

Please provide a resume and personal statement as part of your  application. This can be uploaded when you submit your application or sent to us via email at fbyou@fontbonnne.edu.

Interview Tips

We will ask you a variety of questions to help us get to know you. We are looking to better understand how your leadership skills, academic achievements and strengths will support Fontbonne’s mission to serve a world in need.

You can prepare for your interview by reflecting on your academic, extracurricular, leadership, and service accomplishments, your reasons for pursuing college, your career aspirations and strengths.  And, breathe!  This is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself.

Resume Tips

Your resume should include a header with your contact information.  It should also outline your educational experiences, work/volunteer activities, any honors/awards you have earned, your extracurricular activities and any additional information you want to share with the selection committee.

Personal Statement Tips

Your personal statement should include specific examples of your academic, extracurricular, leadership, and service accomplishments. We encourage you to provide examples that show how you want to grow your passions and interests in college. Please write a minimum of 250 words.
