Sisterhood is Powerful

The Sisters Oral History Project is a newly launched program at Fontbonne University. Members of the Campus Ministry and Mission Integration departments and Dr. Ben Moore (English/Communication) have worked together to develop this program.  They recruited eight current Fontbonne students, seven of whom are now taking Ben Moore’s Oral History course and participating in the Bosnian Memory Project, to pair with eight Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

This effort is part of a larger project that originated at Fontbonne’s sister school, St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Nearly all participating Sisters are Fontbonne alumnae, and all have had rich and varied lives of service to the dear neighbor. To follow the progress of this program and to hear from students that are participating, click the Learn More button below.
