The Eardley Family Clinic for Speech, Language, and Hearing
The Fontbonne University Speech and Language Clinic has been serving the St. Louis Community for over 40 years. The clinic is dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals with communication disorders.
All services are by appointment only. Evaluations are available Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Therapy appointments are available Monday-Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 PM. Limited appointments available until 6:30 PM. Services include the following:
- Speech and Language Evaluations
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication Evaluations (AAC)
- Hearing Evaluations
- Speech and Language Therapy (including AAC)
- Accent Modification
- Individual therapy for all Ages
- Speech and Language Group for Preschool aged children
- Small group therapy
- Special Programs: AAC Weekend Theater Camp (fall and summer)
- Adult cochlear Implant Group
Referrals from physicians, teachers, associated professionals and family members are welcome. All clinical services are provided under the supervision of faculty members holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and State Licensure in Speech Pathology from Missouri or Illinois. The clinic is located on the Fontbonne University campus, 6800 Wydown Boulevard in the heart of Clayton.

Fees are based on the service provided. We do not direct bill insurance but can provide an itemized bill with appropriate codes upon request. Full time Fontbonne students receive services at no charge as part of their student fees. Full time faculty and staff should inquire about services as part of their benefits.
Clients are required to have an evaluation prior to scheduling therapy. Evaluations completed by a certified Speech Language pathologist may be accepted.
Fees are discounted to all clients. In order to apply for a fee reduction, clients are required to complete a fee reduction form
