  • Cultural Conversations: Reading the Signs of the Times
Twice each semester, the CSJ Chair convenes a lunch for students, faculty and staff (max 25 at each conversation) to discuss an event currently in the news but which merits deeper analysis. Each conversation is facilitated by a faculty member with some expertise in the news topic.
  • Latino/Hispanic Union
The current holder of the CSJ Chair serves as faculty co-advisor to the LHU group at Fontbonne.
  • Fontbonne Heritage Week Celebration: “I Love CSJs Week”
The CSJ Chair, in partnership with campus offices interested in the university’s mission and heritage, co-hosts events every March (during National Catholic Sisters Week) that celebrate the work of The Sisters of St. Joseph both here at Fontbonne and around the world.
  • Miscellaneous programming throughout the academic year in support of Office of Mission Integration and Office of Campus Ministry
  • Conversations on Religion and the Humanities
