Fontbonne University prohibits sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is an unwelcome conduct on the basis of sex that a reasonable person would find to be so severe, pervasive and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the University programs or activities. Sexual harassment encompasses a broad range of behavior that include quid pro quo harassment, hostile environment and sexual misconduct (sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking).
Consistent with the values of the university to provide an educational and employment experience free of sexual harassment, members of the Fontbonne Community are encouraged to seek support and report all sexual harassment directly to Public Safety or the Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Coordinator(s). These individuals will assist in investigating and eliminating improper conduct, and in preventing and addressing the effects.
All inquiries regarding the application of policies for the prevention of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct under Title IX should be referred to Fontbonne’s Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Coordinators, as listed below:
