Jack C. Taylor Library

The Jack C. Taylor Library at Fontbonne University provides access to over 95,000 volumes, with over twenty million additional items available through the statewide MOBIUS consortium. Details on using interlibrary loan are available on the library webpage. The library collection includes books, e-books, journals, magazines, DVDs, CDs and electronic resources. The library’s website connects students to nearly 100 online research tools and full-text titles.

Reference librarians are available to personally assist students with research. Contact a Reference Librarian at LibraryHelp@fontbonne.edu.

Kinkel Center for Success, Advising and Engagement

Academic accommodations services are available to all students with verifiable documentation from a licensed professional on business letterhead indicating their disabilities/impairment or condition.

The Kinkel Center provides academic tutoring, at no cost, for all Fontbonne students in the subject areas of math computer, science and writing. In person and online tutoring services are available by appointment.
Additional subject area tutoring is also available through our professional online tutoring services Thinking Storm.

  • Math: Basic Math through Calculus, including Introductory and Advanced Statistics
  • Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Human Anatomy & Physiology
  • Writing: Submission-based writing feedback is available 24/7
  • Business: Accounting, Finance, and Introductory Economics
  • Nursing: Medical Terminology, Pathopsychology, Pharmacology, and other topics.
  • Design Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom)

Math, Science, Design, and Writing tutoring available daily from 10 a.m. – 4 a.m. EST.

Business and other advanced topics (e.g. Advanced Statistics, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Nursing, etc.) are available on an appointment basis.

Test Proctoring Services

The Charles Jeffers Glik Testing Center provides placement testing for incoming students using the Accuplacer Placement Test. A distraction-free testing environment is available for students with academic accommodations.

This service is free of charge to current Fontbonne students and Fontbonne alumni to take a test in the Kinkel Center.
