Fontbonne University is hosting a showcase for high school seniors, which highlights three STEM majors: Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Bioinformatics.  You’ll learn what these programs involve and possible career directions. You’ll meet with your future professors and get a sample of a class in each major. And, you’ll learn about the Griffin Technology Scholarship — a $6,000 – $10,000 annual award!

The Griffin Technology STEM Showcase will feature these majors:

Computer Science: Study programming, software development, operating systems, database systems, and even mobile app development.

Cybersecurity: Study how computer systems can be hacked and learn how to prevent it. Gain a strong base in computer science while also learning about security, privacy and trust.

Bioinformatics: Study how computer science and mathematics can solve problems in biology, ranging from finding new cancer treatments to discovering drought resistant soybeans to tracking epidemics.
