Resources for Parents

Welcome to the Fontbonne community!

We are very pleased that you have selected (or are considering selecting) Fontbonne! We believe that we provide a high quality education in an environment that fosters the development of the whole person.

As parents or guardians, your continuing care, support, and belief in your sons and daughters will be invaluable to their successful adjustment to college. It’s useful too, for families to clearly discuss responsibilities and expectations at all times!

We offer many resources to help your student meet the rigors of college life and to be successful, both in and out of the classroom. While we will provide information on these services and programs during Orientation and at various points and times during the school year, it is the students’ responsibility to read two important documents as quickly as possible.

The Griffin Scratch, our student handbook, contains information on campus policies and procedures, rules and regulations, student support services, facilities, and student organizations. It is included with the Orientation materials and is also available in the Student Affairs Office in Medaille Hall. The Fontbonne University Catalog describes academic programs, courses, policies, procedures, and requirements, and copies can be obtained in the Admissions office.

We look forward to meeting each of you and wish you a happy and successful college experience!

Please contact the Student Affairs Office if you have any questions or concerns.
