Office of Academic Advising

Academic Advising at Fontbonne University is an integral part of the larger mission of the University. Our academic advisors are dedicated to reaching out to students and to encouraging their students to take responsibility for their own educational decisions, to develop their own academic and career plans, and to fully utilize the campus resources available to help them in reaching these goals.

Any student is welcomed to visit the Academic Advising office with general academic questions. Students who are new to the university are especially encouraged visit with the office in Ryan Hall, Room 103 to gain awareness of academic policies and procedures and also knowledge of the services and opportunities available to them.

Academic Advising Resources

The Office of Academic Advising serves as a resource for all Fontbonne undergraduate students. The office is responsible for overseeing the advising program, ensuring that each student is assigned an appropriate academic advisor in his or her field of study. The office’s professional staff works directly with undecided students, College of Arts & Sciences students who have not yet attained major approval and Evening/Online students. The office also serves as a resource for any undergraduate student considering a double major or dual degree, leave of absence, or needs to withdraw from the university.
