Presidential Scholarship Program

Congratulations on qualifying for this prestigious award at Fontbonne University! Your participation in the interview process will provide our faculty and staff with a deeper understanding of your academic strengths, extracurricular involvement and anticipated contributions to Fontbonne University. We look forward to learning all about you and your potential impact on our community!

Overview

Saturday, February 26, 2022

You are invited to attend our virtual scholarship interview day.

Candidates will have the opportunity to hear from the Fontbonne University President, Dr. Nancy Blattner, and will interact with current Presidential Scholarship recipients, faculty, and staff to learn more about our welcoming, supportive, and enriching campus community.

If you haven’t visited St. Louis, we encourage you to take a campus tour and explore St. Louis.

Please note that attendance for the entirety of the program is required to be considered as a Presidential Scholarship recipient. You must register by February 10 in order to attend.

Interview Tips

The interview format will consist of two parts. Students will undergo individual interviews with a selection of faculty members and contribute to a group discussion with their peers. You will be asked a variety of questions that will help us learn more about your academic achievements, leadership skills, and ability to apply your strengths to Fontbonne University’s mission to serve a world in need.

To best prepare for the interviews, identify specific examples of your academic, leadership, and service accomplishments; reasons for pursuing higher education; future plans for responsibly impacting society, and overall strengths of your character. When you submit your registration, you have the option to upload a resume of activities, which will be given to your interviewer to review ahead of time.

Business casual dress is encouraged and be prepared to have your video on. If you need technological or space accommodations, please email fbyou@fontbonne.edu.
