Teach-out students will be charged in-state (Illinois) tuition at UIS through a pilot program approved by the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. This pilot program allows on-ground students in the St. Louis area to receive in-state tuition. Even though some students may have a home address outside of the St. Louis area, since Fontbonne is in that area and the impacted students have ben studying at the institution, the UIS administration feels that in-state tuition should be applicable.
Undergraduate students participating in the teach-out program will have their credit hours earned at Fontbonne accepted toward completion of a degree at UIS. Students must meet all degree requirements to graduate.
